Adrian is well-known in the Austin basketball community for his passion for the development of the city’s youth as well as the growth of the game in the city as a whole. A home-grown, local talent, he was a standout player at Del Valle High School. In college, he was honored as the #1 point guard in the NJCAA in 2010 and is the all-time assist leader at Kishwaukee College in Illinois. Adrian finished his college career at Missouri Western State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Recreation Sports Management. After college, Adrian played professional basketball in Sweden, Turkey, and Spain, where he later discovered his passion for training youth basketball players. He has worked with youth basketball programs in many states, and internationally in Turkey, Spain, Bulgaria, Kosovo, and Germany. Adrian’s high energy level, his ability to inspire others through his training, and his commitment to making a difference make him a vital asset to the Austin basketball community.




Haley has thoroughly enjoyed spending the last several seasons coaching with the Warriors. A three-year varsity letterman and graduate of Westlake High School, Haley is no stranger to the Austin basketball scene. After graduating from Texas State University with a degree in Business Management, she pursued her Master’s degree at Baylor University. Haley is a firm believer in the vision of the Warriors organization and uses her knowledge and passion of the game to impact the lives of every athlete, both on and off the court.




Maurice has a love for sports, especially basketball & football! Maurice grew up in Alexandria, VA where he attended Randolph-Macon Academy, lettered in 4 sports & earned a scholarship to play football at Bethel College. Maurice has been training & coaching basketball for the past 2 years with the Warriors and wants to help all young athletes reach their full potential on the court, while encouraging them to do the same off the court. Maurice’s favorite quotes are “Outwork the Work” & “Don’t count the reps, count the effort”


Coach Romano returns to Austin after spending the past 5 years in Tucson, Arizonacoaching at the Junior College and High School levels. While at Pima CommunityCollege, he coached an All-American, 8 All-Conference players, and trained over 200 boys and girls in the Tucson area over the summers.


Realizing he had a passion for teaching and coaching, Coach Romano began teaching Middle School PE and coaching at Catalina Foothills HS, where the team had a record of 46-10 over a 2-year span. An Austin native, he graduated from Westlake in 2007 where he was Team Captain with Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles and was voted Offensive MVP by his teammates. Coach Romano graduated from the University of Oregon in 2011 and is pursuing his Masters in Educational Leadership. 


Frances Carvajal

Frances Carvajal, a Covington, VA native, used Basketball to take her many places in the world, and it still continues to be her passion today. A graduate in the class of 2001, she received several district, regional, and state honors as a student/athlete. She also is apart of 1,00 point club and first member of the 1,000 rebound club.

D18D6FB1-C60E-41AF-9EF6-BBDB34E9E60FCarvajal went on to play at West Virginia Wesleyan College on a full athletic scholarship.  At Wesleyan, she received All-Conference honors all four years and regional honors her junior and senior year.  Coach Carvajal has also been inducted in both her high school and college’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014 and 2016.  After college, she went on to play professionally for seven years in Europe and Australia. While playing in Australia, Frances started coaching the youth in the community and found that to be her true passion.  Once she stopped playing professional basketball, Coach Carvajal has truly devoted herself to coaching. She completed 7 seasons coaching AAU in the Dallas area, an extremely competitive metroplex for girls basketball. Coach Frances is a firm believer in the fundamentals, dedication, and doing the little things.  As a coach, she takes pride in offering any knowledge that makes a basketball player’s journey easier than her own.

Eli Crevelone

TWE Coaching PicBorn in Tucson, Arizona, Eli’s upbringing was heavily influenced by Lute Olson and the Arizona Wildcats. He led Canyon Del Oro High School to a 67-27 record during his three years on varsity, which helped produce a scholarship to play for Western New Mexico University.

Eli was a letter-winner for two seasons at WNMU, before transferring and walking on at Northern Arizona University during the 2010-2011 season.After graduating with a degree in Business Marketing from NAU, Eli went on to serve as a graduate assistant at the University of St. Francis in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. During his span at St Francis, the Fighting Saints achieved a 54-14 record, and broke numerous school records along the way, including back to back national tournament appearances, and reaching a number one ranking in the national polls for the first time in school history.

Richard Barbee Jr

Richard is new to Austin, having just moved here in October. He has a strong background
in sports as he has traveled the world playing and training players in basketball. A Virginia Beach, VA native, Richard attended Salem High School where he blossomed into an all-state basketball performer. He played college ball at Belmont Abbey College about 10 miles outside of Charlotte NC where he earned his degree in Business Management. A ferocious scorer, Richard finished his college career as the programs #4 all-time leading scorer with 2,000 plus points. He followed a successful career with a trip to England to play professionally. Richard attributes many of his successes in his life to the mentoring from his coaches throughout his career and the life lessons he had learned through the game of basketball. A very passionate guy, he believes in hard work and determination in yourself as being the cornerstone to achieving your goals. Richard’s fun personality make him an ideal coach for the TWE family.

Kimberly Webb

Coach Kimberly Webb is a Pre-Law student at The University of Texas at Austin. She has always been passionate about basketball and maintaining an active lifestyle.  Kimberly grew up in the gym and played basketball for over 10 years…it’s safe to say that she absolutely loves this sport!

She challenges her players to be the best version of themselves— as basketball players, athletes, team members, and most importantly, people. Her only request,  is for players to work their absolute hardest. “I feel it is a privilege to mentor and coach young athletes, particularly at such a young age. I can’t wait to see each of the players grow over this season!


Chris Gagnon

Coach Chris grew up in New England and played basketball at Dartmouth College.  New to Austin, he comes to the Warriors after years of coaching AAU in New Jersey,  where his teams won titles including the New Jersey State Championship. More importantly, he has helped many players get to the college level. His teams are known for playing aggressive, running basketball – a style developed through tough practices focused on learning “how to play” over “running plays”.

Cooper Land

After many stops all over the world, Cooper is excited to be back in Texas and continue his involvement in the Austin basketball community.  Cooper played at Flower Mound Marcus High School, where he was named District 6-5A MVP in 2007 on a team that went 29-7. He then went on to play 4 years at Wright State University, serving as team captain as a Senior. Cooper continued his playing career overseas with stops in Norway, Germany, Japan, and Australia, where he was a 2 time league MVP.

Land also has 4 years of college coaching experience; he was the Associate Head Coach at the University of St. Francis (NAIA) during the 2015-2016 season, helping the team finish the regular season with a 29-2 record and ranked #1 in the country.  Land has also been an Assistant Coach at Rogers State University (NCAA D2),  as well as St. Edwards University.  He is currently the Head Boys Basketball Coach at St. Michael’s Catholic Academy.  In his first season, the Crusaders went 23-10 and were crowned district champions.

Alex Koepsel

Alex is a go-getter that makes it his mission to help young athletes become great players and leaders. He brings a passion for basketball, coaching, and leadership to TWE. His basketball resume includes 20+ years of playing (across all 5 positions), up to the HS Varsity level, where he helped lead his team to a top 10 finish in Florida’s 4A division.


From a coaching perspective, this is Alex’s 3rd season, his motivation and focus speak to more than that. His style is designed to help players treat practices like they are national championship games. A few inspiring that he has learned from, including 1st hand camps/trainings, are Coach Kryzewski (Duke), Coach Wooden (UCLA), and Coach Klusman (Rollins College, NCAA-II)

Jorge Ponce

Coach Ponce played High School Basketball at Kings Park High School. He has great experience in coaching with youth and select programs such as LI Lutheran and LI Lightning.  He has a great knowledge of different systems, both offensive and defensive and has an absolute love for the game. His philosophy is about tenacity, hard work and playing as one single unit that can adjust to any opponent.

Gabriell Mattox


Coach Mattox is from Southeast Texas. Her high energy, competitive mentality instantly becomes contagious. Coach Mattox has made a tremendous impact in the basketball community back home, and now in Austin. The TWE family is glad to have her.

Bre Taylor


Bre Taylor, a native of Houston, was a four-year letter winner and 3-year starter at The University of Texas from 2013-2017, earning Academic All-Big 12 honors each year while at UT. As a senior, Taylor was third on the team in FG % while shooting 46%. In her final campaign, Bre was awarded Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Defense, and most importantly a 2017 University of Texas graduate. Coach Bre helped lead Texas to 4 NCAA Tournament appearances, 3 Sweet 16 showings and an Elite 8 run in 2015-2016.

After graduating, Bre went on to join the women’s basketball staff at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Bre’s strong leadership and high-level coaching style will be an instant impact on our athletes.

Cecilee Perez


Cecilee Perez has a passion for coaching and developing youth athletes into competitive, thriving players.  A former dynamic point-guard, Cecilee received a scholarship to play at Abilene Christian University in 2009. She was named Team Captain in 2010, 2011. Cecilee went on to complete her Master’s (MBA) degree at Concordia University in Austin, Texas.
For the past three seasons, Cecilee has made a great impact with TWE, assisting with various skill development training, camps, and coaching MS and HS Girls. She is a licensed and certified member of USA Basketball, the national governing body for youth basketball in America. She is also trained and certified through the Positive Coaching Alliance. Cecilee has a passion for coaching young athletes and takes pride in creating a fun, energetic environment to develop in.

Christian Spencer

Coach Christian Spencer, Mobile, Alabama native, played 3 years of Varsity Basketball at Baker High School. From Baker HS, he received a scholarship to play at  Universidad del Sagrado Corazon in Puerto Rico. He majored in Secondary Education.

While in Puerto Rico, Christian played 6 years of professional basketball with the Carolina Pumas. In addition, he did skill development training with the Point Guard Academy. He has been coaching Select Basketball in Austin for 3 years now. His attention to detail and positive coaching style is a perfect match for the TWE program.


Jeremy Donalson

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Jeremy Donalson has been coaching girls basketball for 18 years. Jeremy’s basketball coaching experience spans from the 5th-grade level, all the way up to High School. During his time in the Austin area, Coach Donalson has coached at Lake Travis HS, Anderson HS, Westlake HS and is currently coaching at West Ridge Middle School. He has a passion for coaching youth girls, helping them develop both their skill and understanding of the game.


Aimee Longoria

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Coach Aimee Longoria has been impacted by the game for many years. She moved to Wimberley, Texas, where he played Varsity Basketball multiple seasons. After HS she attended Texas State University, graduating in 2017 with a B.S in Nutrition and Foods, and a Minor in Exercise Sport Science.

Coach Aimee began coaching in 2013. She coached the Middle School girls team at Hill Country Christian School in San Marcos, TX for 4 seasons.  Within those 4 years, she also became the Varsity Girls assistant coach. In 2017,  she was named the Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach at Hill Country Christian School. Her first year they finished  2nd in district and advanced to the second round in playoffs.

 After her time at Hill Country Christian, she started coaching at St. Gabriel’s Catholic School, 5th Grade Boys, and MS Girls. In the last 4 years, she has also assisted with the Texas State Men’s Basketball (Danny Kaspar) Team Camp.

Jeremy Clark

Born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, Coach Jeremy grew up with a front-row seat to the great Arkansas Coach Nolan Richardson’s “40 Mins Of Hell”, attacking style of Basketball. His love for the game began there and that style is evident in his team’s play today. He attended the University of Arkansas and played his high school ball nearby at Fayetteville High School.

After moving to the Austin area in 2007, he has developed many connections and gained great experience coaching youth athletes in the SW Austin area over the last 3 years. His love, detail coaching, and passion for the game are unmatched. Coach Jeremy embraces the process and development aspect of coaching. His philosophy is all about hustle, hard work, and players trusting their teammates to achieve the common goal of winning games.
