Adrian is well-known in the Austin basketball community for his passion for the development of the city’s youth as well as the growth of the game in the city as a whole. A home-grown, local talent, he was a standout player at Del Valle High School. In college, he was honored as the #1 point guard in the NJCAA in 2010 and is the all-time assist leader at Kishwaukee College in Illinois. Adrian finished his college career at Missouri Western State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Recreation Sports Management. After college, Adrian played professional basketball in Sweden, Turkey, and Spain, where he later discovered his passion for training youth basketball players. He has worked with youth basketball programs in many states, and internationally in Turkey, Spain, Bulgaria, Kosovo, and Germany. Adrian’s high energy level, his ability to inspire others through his training, and his commitment to making a difference make him a vital asset to the Austin basketball community.
Haley has thoroughly enjoyed spending the last several seasons coaching with the Warriors. A three-year varsity letterman and graduate of Westlake High School, Haley is no stranger to the Austin basketball scene. After graduating from Texas State University with a degree in Business Management, she pursued her Master’s degree at Baylor University. Haley is a firm believer in the vision of the Warriors organization and uses her knowledge and passion of the game to impact the lives of every athlete, both on and off the court.
Coach Romano returns to Austin after spending the past 5 years in Tucson, Arizonacoaching at the Junior College and High School levels. While at Pima CommunityCollege, he coached an All-American, 8 All-Conference players, and trained over 200 boys and girls in the Tucson area over the summers.
Realizing he had a passion for teaching and coaching, Coach Romano began teaching Middle School PE and coaching at Catalina Foothills HS, where the team had a record of 46-10 over a 2-year span. An Austin native, he graduated from Westlake in 2007 where he was Team Captain with Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles and was voted Offensive MVP by his teammates. Coach Romano graduated from the University of Oregon in 2011 and is pursuing his Masters in Educational Leadership.
Carvajal went on to play at West Virginia Wesleyan College on a full athletic scholarship. At Wesleyan, she received All-Conference honors all four years and regional honors her junior and senior year. Coach Carvajal has also been inducted in both her high school and college’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014 and 2016. After college, she went on to play professionally for seven years in Europe and Australia. While playing in Australia, Frances started coaching the youth in the community and found that to be her true passion. Once she stopped playing professional basketball, Coach Carvajal has truly devoted herself to coaching. She completed 7 seasons coaching AAU in the Dallas area, an extremely competitive metroplex for girls basketball. Coach Frances is a firm believer in the fundamentals, dedication, and doing the little things. As a coach, she takes pride in offering any knowledge that makes a basketball player’s journey easier than her own.
Born in Tucson, Arizona, Eli’s upbringing was heavily influenced by Lute Olson and the Arizona Wildcats. He led Canyon Del Oro High School to a 67-27 record during his three years on varsity, which helped produce a scholarship to play for Western New Mexico University.

Coach Kimberly Webb is a Pre-Law student at The University of Texas at Austin. She has always been passionate about basketball and maintaining an active lifestyle. Kimberly grew up in the gym and played basketball for over 10 years…it’s safe to say that she absolutely loves this sport!
Coach K’s coaching style is very encouraging and supportive. She challenges her players to be the best version of themselves— as basketball players, athletes, team members, and most importantly, people. Her only request, is for players to work their absolute hardest. “I feel it is a privilege to mentor and coach young athletes, particularly at such a young age. I can’t wait to see each of the players grow over this season!

After many stops all over the world, Cooper is excited to be back in Texas and continue his involvement in the Austin basketball community. Cooper played at Flower Mound Marcus High School, where he was named District 6-5A MVP in 2007 on a team that went 29-7. He then went on to play 4 years at Wright State University, serving as team captain as a Senior. Cooper continued his playing career overseas with stops in Norway, Germany, Japan, and Australia, where he was a 2 time league MVP.
Land also has 4 years of college coaching experience; he was the Associate Head Coach at the University of St. Francis (NAIA) during the 2015-2016 season, helping the team finish the regular season with a 29-2 record and ranked #1 in the country. Land has also been an Assistant Coach at Rogers State University (NCAA D2), as well as St. Edwards University. He is currently the Head Boys Basketball Coach at St. Michael’s Catholic Academy. In his first season, the Crusaders went 23-10 and were crowned district champions.
From a coaching perspective, this is Alex’s 3rd season, his motivation and focus speak to more than that. His style is designed to help players treat practices like they are national championship games. Coach Mattox is from Southeast Texas. Her high energy, competitive mentality instantly becomes contagious. Coach Mattox has made a tremendous impact in the basketball community back home, and now in Austin. The TWE family is glad to have her.

As a senior, Taylor was third on the team in FG % while shooting 46%. In her final campaign, Bre was awarded Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All Defense, and most importantly a 2017 University of Texas graduate. Coach Bre helped lead Texas to 4 NCAA Tournament appearances, 3 Sweet 16 showings and an Elite 8 run in 2015-2016.
After graduating, Bre went on to join the women’s basketball staffat the University of Nebraska Omaha.Bre’s strong leadership and high-level coaching style will be an instant impact for our athletes.
